World View

     My art has evolved into the study of connections in life force. We live in a closed loop. Every beginning is the result of another beginnings end. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.  Our universe cannot create new energy; it can only be transferred and transformed.

 

I find the redistribution of supremacy to be very interesting.  There is an incessant oscillation of power within our society as well as between mankind and the environment. 

 

The juxtaposition of this dominance of power and unity of life force creates a new dialogue.  These opposing ideologies have been particularly successful in my most recent installations.  Playing with heavy line work to create a narrative and chronological record of energy, I am transforming found objects into abstract representations of the moral obligation shared among every member in our loop.

 

It is important to acknowledge each individual’s potential role, within this loop, of progress or destruction. Regardless of the path we choose our decisions strongly impact all that is around us.
